New 1/19/17: Kitsune names have been added. The Chelaxian generator has been revised.
Like most of the non-human races, half-orc names don't have a real-world ethnicity behind them. This generator emphasizes harsh consonants and gutteral sounds, though the feminine names tend to be softer than the masculine ones. That being said, the names they produce are heavily random due to the seed lists, so you might see the same names show up for both genders. (Does that matter? Probably not. Would you want to tell a half-orc that his name sounds like a girl, or visa-versa? I didn't think so.)
When choosing names that start with a letter or letters, keep the prefixes short. One or two letters work best!
Adjusting these settings can help fine-tune your name list, but if you make them too aggressive
you might not get any results at all.
