RPG Setting Calendar Builder

Create a calendar for your RPG system or setting. You can either build it from scratch, or modify one of the preset calendars to suit your campaign. Once your calendar is built, you can view it in the Preview tab.

Your customized calendar can be shared with others. See the Share tab for details.

General

Calendar Name
Calendar Era The abbreviation after the year that identifies the calednar's era or dating system.
Minimum Year

The earliest year the calendar is valid. Normally, this would be 1. This option is here specifically for the Gregorian calendar, as this system is not sophisticated enough to support the dual dating that was required as the Gregorian calendar was adopted.

Leap Years

Leap year rules are evaluated in order.

Holidays can be defined using the following rules:

Specify negative values for N to count from the end. (Example: "-1st Monday of January" would mean the last Monday in January).

Make sure your month, weekday, and moon definitions are complete before defining holidays! Changing the calendar structure can invalidate your holiday definitions. Note that definitions based on full moons can result in skipped holidays if the lunar period is longer than the month.
